General Purpose of Job The AMI Analyst III Lead serves as the senior technical expert and lead resource responsible for the operation, analysis, and continuous improvement of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management Systems (MDMS). This position ensures system reliability, data accuracy, and performance optimization through advanced monitoring, troubleshooting, and analytics. The AMI Analyst III Lead provides day-to-day leadership and technical direction to the AMI Analyst team, coordinating workload priorities, promoting best practices, and driving process improvement initiatives. This position acts as the principal liaison between the AMI Services Manager, IT, Billing, Engineering, and Member Services to ensure seamless system operation and exceptional service delivery. While not a supervisory role, the AMI Analyst III Lead is expected to guide, mentor, and support team members and lead projects that enhance the overall effectiveness of AMI operations.
