Salary: $85,150 - 153,925 per year Requirements:

• I need candidates to hold an active DoD Secret clearance, with the capability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or IT/Network Administration is required (or a combination of 4-8 years of direct experience in lieu of a degree).
• Candidates must have the current DoD 8570.01 IAM II certification (Security+ with CE) or the willingness to obtain it within 6 months.
• A working knowledge of Windows and Linux systems is essential, along with at least 4 years of Linux administration experience.
• Experience administering Linux in a Windows domain environment is necessary.
• I seek individuals with 1-3 years of experience configuring switches and firewalls, preferably with Cisco.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST, CNSS, DSS, and DoD cybersecurity directives is required.
• Strong customer service abilities and the capacity to independently prioritize numerous tasks are a must.
• Candidates should be prepared to pursue CISSP and RHCSA certifications within the first year of employment.
• Security+ and Linux certifications (Red Hat or Linux+) are also required.

Responsibilities:

• I will need you to manage both Windows and Linux systems.
• You will be responsible for building and maintaining Linux/Windows workstations and servers in compliance with DoD STIG standards.
• I expect you to configure switches and firewalls and carry out basic network troubleshooting.
• Conducting vulnerability assessments (such as SCAP, ACAS/Nessus, DISA STIGs) will be part of your duties.
• You will need to perform periodic maintenance, including operating system patching and virus definition updates.
• Your role will involve supporting ticket requests, managing user accounts, and assisting with password resets and account unlocks.
• You will be responsible for resolving file-level permission issues across both Linux and Windows environments.
• Maintaining system security and recovery processes in line with RMF and DoD policies will be expected.
• Installing hardware and software as the situation requires will be another task on your agenda.
