We are looking for a Site Office Administrator to join our Petrochemicals (CP) team in Houston, TX.

We are seeking a professional like you to provide daily and direct assistance to the Houston Energy Tower Site Manager and site leadership team with multiple projects and administrative duties that will enhance employee experience at BASF as well as streamline process efficiency. This role involves interacting with site visitors and all levels within the organization, working under pressure in a professional environment, and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You will demonstrate operational excellence through process standardization and cost-conscious behavior in the utilization of company resources.

During your time as a Site Office Administrator, you will...

  • Support the Site Manager and leadership team by scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and coordinating site events.
  • Welcome visitors at reception and coordinate escorts to ensure safety.
  • Manage badging activities and maintain security clearances while adhering to site access protocols.
  • Serve as the point of contact for Building Management, Parking, and tenant requests, and managing invoices.
  • Oversee training assignments and reporting as the Learning Management System Content Owner.
  • Maintain site documentation, reports, distribution lists, newsletters, and seating charts.
  • Organize and maintain digital collaboration tools and update the Houston Energy Tower website.
  • Drive Information Protection activities and coordinate related trainings and reviews.
  • Support onboarding and orientation processes and materials for the site.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Administer policies and procedures as the Houston Site Medical Contact and manage confidential documents.
  • Assist with general office administration including supplies, mail, and conference room setup.

  • Hold a degree in a relevant field or possess equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Exhibit proficiency in MS Office and MS Windows applications.
  • Utilize digital collaboration tools such as shared folders and MS Teams.
  • Show excellent attention to detail.
  • Work independently and collaboratively.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and maintain a positive demeanor.
  • Are proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
